Mastercraft Construction has recently completed our dream extension in Heidelberg Heights. We purchased our property 10 years ago with the grand plan to extend. After finally deciding to proceed we approached several builders in our area. To appoint Mastercraft Construction was an easy one for us.
Mark from our first meeting was very approachable, professional, and went beyond other builders to discuss in great detail the planning and to provide what we needed to know about his business and contractors.
The quotation was provided very professionally which enabled us to financially break down the extension costs to support our finances.
My wife and i had not been through this process before, we were very confident Mark could deliver the service and guarantees we required.
Our project from the start was seamless and can still today appreciate how Mark made our lives whilst living in the house so easy without any complications.
The most impressive part of the project was the professionalism of all his contractors and it was quite obvious how they all worked well together whilst onsite.Mark was fantastic to provide us with updates, what we needed to plan in advance and was always onsite to inspect completed works by each contractor.
We are now enjoying our new home, and forever grateful to Mark and his team.

We were initially looking for someone to replace our house’s weatherboards and re-paint the house, and after speaking to Mark discovered that Mastercraft Construction offers a full renovation service. Mark and his team did the following work for us: replacement of weathered and rotten weatherboards, rusted down pipes, rusted verandah posts, warped and splintered deck, most window and door frames and the leaning front door, and lots of extra touches like fixing our gates and an internal door, helping us with a leaky roof, and of course, re-painting the house. And what a stunning transformation it is! We’ve received many comments from neighbours and passers by on how good the house looks. Mark and his team were very professional, efficient, cared about quality, and offered helpful advice. We would not hesitate to contact Mastercraft for future work.

Kitchen & bathroom renovation in Camberwell.
We used Mastercraft Construction for our home renovation in Camberwell. This consisted of knocking through the adjoining wall of our kitchen living area to make it open plan, full renovation of the kitchen, dining and living area (including full renewal of the existing ceiling that was seriously wonky ) and full renovation of our upstairs bathroom. We found Mark very good to deal with from the onset with useful planning help and advice as we developed the design of our renovation. We had some novel design ideas which Mark took on board and delivered very well – offering advice on constructability whilst still respecting our design choices – the wall to wall penny tiles in the bathroom raised a few eyebrows and I’m sure the tiler enjoyed installing them!? – but now they are in they look amazing! and are not as difficult to clean as Mark first suggested…. ; )
Another positive point about Mark and Mastercraft Construction was the care and attention they showed whilst carrying out the renovation – we had elected to stay in the house during the renovation (camped out in our bedroom with mini kitchen downstairs) – during this process Mark always ensured the property was left clean and tidy as possible after each day’s work and we were definitely impressed with the way he left the property each day (I actually felt sorry for his industrial vacumm which must have seen some serious action!).
The end result was that we are very happy with our completed renovation and the service offered by Mark and Mastercraft Construction – we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to renovate and improve their house.
